Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 23 February 2018 9.00am EST

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A real-time procedure was executed on Feb 19 to re-initialize the flight software Thruster Command Processing subfunction in order to prevent the occurrence of an overflow condition.

The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of NGC5907 ULX1, which was accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time Target of Opportunity on Feb 21, an observation of MAXI J1813-095, which was accepted as a Target of Opportunity on Feb 21, and an observation of VLA J185310-084308 coordinated with VLA.
