Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 16 December 2005 9.00am EST

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A realtime procedure was completed on December 15 to update the on-board Ephemeris.

A Chandra image release was issued on 15 December of the Supernova SN1006. The compelling image and further details can be found at: http://chandra.harvard.edu/photo/2005/sn1006/

The schedule of targets for next week is shown below and includes the first segments of a long series of observations of the globular cluster 47 Tuc that will be continued over the next two weeks.
