Operations CXO Status Report

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A Chandra press release was issued on 18 September describing combined Chandra and XMM-Newton observations of the supernova RCW 86 that shows the expanding ring of debris that was created after the massive progenitor star collapsed onto itself and exploded.
