Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 5 October 2007 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Real-time procedure were executed on Oct 3 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer, and to perform a dump of the IU-A EEPROM.

A Chandra image release was issued on Oct 3 of the Orion nebula. The Chandra data were acquired over nearly continuous observations, lasting almost 13 days, and have allowed monitoring of the activity of Sun-like stars between 1 and 10 million years old.
