Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 3 December 1999 9.00am EST

During the last 48 hours Chandra performed an HRC-S calibration observation of Cal 83, observed NGC 526A, RX J0019.8+2156 with HRC-S, made a series of observations of M31 with HRC-S, 3C 58 with HRC-I, NGC 4038 and NGC 4039 with ACIS-S, and of V1416+4446 with ACIS-I. The observatory passed through the radiation belts with associated ACIS CTI measurements.

Over the weekend Chandra will observe an S-Z Cluster, NGC 4151 and SNR 590.0-68.7 with ACIS-S, and pass through the radiation belts with the associated ACIS CTI measurements.

The next mission planning load (Dec 5) was reviewed yesterday and is expected to be signed off today. This load will begin executing at 4.30pm on Sunday Dec 5.

The spacecraft subsystems continued to operate nominally.
