Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 25 December 2020 9.00am EST

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Chandra passed through the thirteenth (final) eclipse of the season on Dec 19 respectively, with nominal power and thermal performance.

Realtime procedures were executed on Jun 14 to disable SCS-29 and to dump and clear the EPS glitch counters as post-eclipse season actions.

Real-time procedures were executed during each ground contact to reset the DSN Outage Dead Man Load.

The schedule of targets for the next two weeks is shown below and includes observations of SN2020tcw, which follow-up to a Target of Opportunity accepted on Oct 16, and an observation of PKS1127-14, which was accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time Target of Opportunity on Dec 18.
