Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 30 September 2022 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Real-time procedures were executed on Sep 23 and Sep 24 to dump OBC-B memory as a follow-up to the flight software patch on Sep 21 that updated the Thermal Secondary Database. The dump will be used to update the baseline memory images maintained on the ground.

Preparations were completed for the fall 2022 eclipse season; the season contains 29 eclipses and runs from Sep 30 to Dec 13. Real-time procedures were executed on Sep 29 to prepare for the first eclipse by dumping and clearing the EPS glitch counters and activating SCS 29.
