During the last week, the observing schedule was interrupted due to a radiation monitor threshold violation. The loads were autonomously halted at 4:52 am EDT on Jan 19 by the ACIS radiation monitor through execution of SCS 107 for SI safing. All spacecraft actions were nominal. A real-time procedure was executed on Jan 19 to change the ObsID. Loads for a replanned schedule were uplinked on Jan 21. Planned observations that were impacted by the interruption will be rescheduled. Chandra passed through the 3rd and 4th eclipses of the season on Jan 18 and 21, respectively, with nominal power and thermal performance. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes observations of the Orion Nebula coordinated with JWST, and an observation of GRB260114A, which is a follow-up to a Target of Opportunity accepted on Jan 15. |
