Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 25 January 2008 9.00am EST

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A real-time procedure was completed on 22 Jan to update the on-board Ephemeris.

A Chandra image release was issued on 23 Jan of the young star cluster Westerlund 2. The cluster has an estimated age of 1-2 millions years and contains some of the hottest, brightest and most massive stars known. For further details see: http://chandra.harvard.edu/photo/2008/wd2/
