Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 21 September 2001 10.30am EDT

During the last week, Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Preparations were completed for the second set of 9 ACIS calibration observations of the dark moon planned for September 22.

Other highlights last week included the conduct of safe-mode recovery training simulation over 19-20 September, and the completion of the Cycle-3 cost review on 20 September and submission of results to NASA HQ for selection.

The schedule of observations for the coming week is shown below and includes an observation of HD 93497 coordinated with the Hubble Space Telescope.
