Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 18 January 2002 9.00am EST

During the last week, Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Real-time procedures were completed on Jan 11 to resume loads following last week's solar stoppage, and to perform an ACIS CTI measurement.

Of note last week was the installation of a new version of the ground system operating system (IRIX 6.5.9f), and an updated version of the Online system (3.8.1). The installation was made on Jan 16 and proceeded smoothly. Also of note was the conduct on Jan 15 of the 2002 Chandra Fellows Peer Review.

The schedule of observations for the coming week are shown below and includes observations of NGC 5548 and V471 Tau coordinated with HST.
