During the last week the observing schedule was replanned to incorporate an observation of GRB 140930B, which was accepted as a Target of Opportunity on Oct 1. Loads for the replanned schedule were uplinked on Oct 2. An observation of HD 206267 was impacted by the replan and will be rescheduled in a future week. A real-time procedure was executed on Oct 1 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer. Of note this week was the release on Sep 26 of an alpha version of the Sherpa 4.7 standalone binary package. For details see: http://cxc.cfa.harvard.edu/contrib/sherpa47b/ The schedule of targets for the next two weeks is shown below and includes observations of Comet C/2013 A1 Siding Spring and an observation of Rho Oph Cloud A coordinated with Kepler. |
