Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 30 January 2015 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Chandra passed through the fourth, fifth, and sixth eclipses of the season on Jan 24, 27, and 29 respectively, with nominal power and thermal performance.

A Chandra press release was issued on Jan 29 announcing a new exhibit in celebration of he International Year of Light, a year-long initiative in 2015 endorsed by the United Nations. The new exhibit is a collection of spectacular images called "Light: Beyond the Bulb". For details see: http://chandra.si.edu/press/15_releases/press_012915.html
